I'm going to be putting this stuff on this coming week, and just had a few questions about it's application.

I'm thinking about doing the axles, so obviously I'm gonna tape off the seals and bolts, but what about leaf springs? Are they ok to treat?

And what about other areas under the truck outside of frame and basic heavy duty suspension components?

Is there a specific area I should AVOID treating?

Thanks for the help boys!

POR 15 is best used sparingly. If a tablespoon is about right cut that in half and then apply. It's also best if there is rust already on the steel part. Brush off any scale then apply. I have used POR 15 in many restorations but it tends to be a little glossy if you are trying to replicate original equipment black. It's best after a very light sanding to recoat POR 15 with an enamel or urethane because POR 15 does not resist ultraviolet.

Your skin... Use gloves! I have some drippings on my dad's driveway that are still there after 15 years.

I agree with Ryan, it dosen't flex well.
