I have a 1st gen dually (see sig). I went to the Perris pulls and decided to try pulling the truck. Having no idea what I was doing, I asked around a little bit, and decided to launch in 3rd 4-Low. My idea was to get the clutch out easy, then hit the throttle. Clutch slipped bad. Instead of quitin the pull and going again, I just reached up and grabbed 2nd gear. Off I went, flying down the track (not really, but I wanted to think so). 182 feet later, the sled broke and I had to stop (not really, but I wanted to think so). The whole thing happened so fast, I cant give you guys any specifics, other than I dont think I got all the way into the throttle. So, here is my question. Am I spinning my wheels thinking I can pull this truck the way it is set up? The turbos are pdr hx-40/ht3b. I like the truck, and due to the fact that I need it to tow a 15000 pound RV, I cant get too radical. One other thing, I did the pull with the 245/70/r19. 5 tires. Should I change those out for the stock wheels and tires? I am going to put a sb dual disc clutch in soon. Sorry the posts so long, but I wouldnt bother asking if I didnt like the little taste of sled pulling I got. Ryan
