I lost the little blue clip that slides into the quick connect at the fuel tank. It is the same as the one at the LP. Dealer says I have to buy the whole line. I've been taking my FASS on and off so many times trying to zero in on the problem that I finally lost the clip. PM me if you want to sell it... . Jim

Cummins sells a short pigtail (extension cord) that attaches to the transfer pump on 1998. 5 and 1999 Rams. Would the pigtail be a source for the clip?

Yeah, that might work, if no one has one I'll make the trip down to West Sacramento. It's about a 3. 5 hour round trip so I'll wait to see if anyone else chimes in. Thank you... ... Jim

Have you guys had any trouble getting those clips off? I am trying to install my FASS as we speak and I think my blue clip is frozen on the top of the fuel tank. I can see a lot of rust and corrosion on the elbow it is hooked to. Any ideas? Do you guys ever drop the tank down for better access? How about for getting to the the filler neck? Thanks!!

Yes they are a royal PITA to get off. Some say they come right off, but any time I have removed my tank/lines, they are a bear. Don't do like I first did when I installed my FASS, thinking the blue clip is supposed to come off with the line. That was my biggest problem because it is supposed to stay on the tank module tube. I have one less on my tank now since I installed my 1/2" suction line, next time I pull the tank the return line will be modified too to eliminate the quick dis-connect junk. Try spraying WD-40 all over the connector, it helped mine finally slide apart. I used spark plug wire pliers to grip the connector. Hope this helps. :)
