I talked to the Banks tecchnical person who of course said that their 4" exhaust system is not that loud and he recommended it for my 03 H. O. Then I talked to Dave Muench of (DPP) and he recomended the Aeroturbine exhaust recombiner to replace my stock muffler. I am looking for quiet power like stock or close to it. My wife insists, so I need some sound Hee! Hee! engineering advice so I can get this rig sucking fueling and blowing with out the noise issue. I had a 2001 and that was enough noise fun, now it is time for the realy smart guys or gals to come up with a product that "for sure" (as in don't waste money experamenting) solution. I really think there is big $$ if some body can engineer this with good old American know how. I had three of the biggest Dynomax mufflers and two Dynotec Vortec racing silencers in my last rig and it still was not quiet enough to be comfortable on long trips. Now that is the extent of my engineering skill and it cost me $1400. for this keep on trying effort that failed on my 2001. I would really like to hit a bulls eye the first shot here so come on with the commentaries. I am thinking a Banks system with two Aeroturbine extractors??? Hit me hard and fast because I need to get to bombing this new 2003 thing right now, it is already 4 days old. Billy & Jackie Adams :{

Just another sad example of a spouse limiting a guy's fun with his truck. A word of advice for you single guys: Prenuptial agreements.

There ain't no issue here about who is boss she and I agree, well most of the time after being married for 30 years. I am also wanting quiet power so I can hear my $850 upgraded Infinity radio and enjoy her conversation without yelling. Like I said I was a 2001. 5 race horse and I sold it because I have had enough hearing damage. Now I am ready to enjoy the improvement that Dodge finally came up with. If noise is what is most important then here is a very simple explanation of that mentality, look at those kids with the big mufflers on their Toyotas that sound like an airplane but go no where. It's an adolesent joke that hopefully we all can appreciate. We (Jackie & I) are in our 60's and would rather not be 16 years old again because if the difference in wisdom but we do need the power to pull. If you want noise then stand next to a jet engine and try to communicat with someone and judge your intelligence for doing it that way. :D Billy & Jackie
