Every once in a while I'll start my truck and notice all of my radio stations selections have disappeared and it has random stations programed where I had my favorite stations. Yesterday while driving the radio switched from FM to SiriusXM on its own. Has anyone had a similar experience and if so what can I do to fix it? The truck is out of warranty but only has 16K miles. My truck is a 2018 3500 without the navigation radio, it has the standard radio screen.

Do you have memory seats? If so the radio stations and screen icon placement can be saved to each key.

Switching from FM to XM is a known issue and has a TSB for it. I don't recall if it goes past the standard warranty period thou.

I replied in the other thread on the radio. Quick note-the radio on my 2018 Laramie 3500 SRW cratered this summer. A fairly common problem I believe. I have the 8.4 with nav. so not sure if that makes a difference. Had to replace the radio. It was covered under the Maxcare extended warranty. Not sure what it will cost on it's own.

A few weeks ago driving my ram (2016, 2500 6.7) there was the dreaded boing, ding noise I despise/hate (it means another dealership trip and $$$!) radio dropped, lost all my saved favorite songs. No overpriced navigation system.
I’ll see what dealership says about radio when I bring truck BACK after they supposedly fixed my PO868 code which popped up AGAIN .
