rear axle wheel choices

will a 16 inch rim fit over the brakes on a REAR 3rd gen 2500 axle? probably the 11. 50 i know the fronts you have to use 17's but i was not sure about the rears too ...



i am looking for axles for my project and was hoping to find a factory disk option from a 3/4 ton truck and i want to use 16 inch rims

I'd say 16" wheels won't fit. All 4 discs are 13. 9" diameter, and I doubt the rear calipers are 2" closer to the centerline than the fronts.

thats what i needed to know thanks, i just assumed that the rears would be a bit smaller ... but i guess not





looks like i need to find a 01. 5-02 rear axle ... . should be no problem :{
