Have you pulled more than one trailer?

What's the worst thing you've had Fall off a trailer?

I'm planning on running around this summer with a TT, (don't wanna lose the bed), what is thee best hitch to bolt on that '95 3500? I am entitled to your opinion!!

A Reese Titan Class V ain't bad. Your truck takes part number 45005 or 450005 don't remember exactly. rated @ 12,000lbs without bars with a 1200lbs tongue weight, or 14,000lbs with weight distributing bars. Pete

We have had some problems with the stock reciever hitches. We now run the Reese titan V hitches and have had no problems!! I do check the hitch, bolts and frame mounting points before every trip.

I went with the torklift super hitch. You can check them out at www.torklift.com

I have a friend with the reese, as above, and he loves it, too.

I'd rather be... .

My '85 D350 chassis cab had a Reese Titan V, and it was amazing. My new 01. 5 Chassis cab will get one too when it shows up this month.

Depends on what you call best?. I have always used Draw-Tite brand without failure but I also don't overload ... ... ... 2 much #ad

I was looking for a drawbar, and ended up getting one that the combo pintle hook and ball would bolt to. The drawbar has several holes that the pintle/ball can bolt at different heights to accomodate different trailers. Also, this was the only drawbar I found that had tow ratings to match the truck. When bolting the pintle/Ball to the drawbar, I followed the instructions on how tight to torque the bolts. Doing so by these instructions, one bolt snapped while torquing it down to the spec. I immediatley replaced all of those bolts and looked into a more reliable source for this torque spec. The one I installed, calls for Grade 8 bolts.
