Recommendations for auto battery charger

Anyone have any recommendations for a good automotive battery charger? Something that can handle 6V and 12V batteries.



Or which features should I be looking for? Which are must-haves and which are nice-to-haves?

They have come a long way with battery chargers in the last few years, mostly in the onboard chargers for marine use. A built in timer is nice if you are like me and forget to turn it off. The boost feature is also nice for quick starting a low battery but can be dangerous. I guess my recommendation would be to get not less than a 10 amp output, try to stay with a brand you recognize. bg
