Competition Redline Box

Tonight I was able to hook to a sled after changing my setup. I now am running a HTT 66 stainless and DDP 200hp injectors with the Redline Unlimited Box and the Edge comp for timing. Well my question is according the the redline memory recall I only turned 3545 rpms and 47psi. I know I need to adjust the wastegate to get my boost up but, why did I only run 3500. The auto shifted into drive and had plenty of power to keep climbing in rpms but it just didn't. Any Ideas?

What did you have the RPM limit set to in the Redline box? I would also agree with LaserBob, if you are still running the stock springs and cam, it probably wasn't the box that was stopping you from going higher.



Also remember that the Redline box read boost from the MAP sensor. I don't remember what the limit is for the 98. 5 MAP sensor, but I know it different then the 02 one, and it's make (on my truck), is 56psi. What I am trying to say, is that the Redline may not be showing max boost.

I forgot to mention that I have added F1 valve springs and has a reground cam in it but I don't know any of the details as it was in the motor when I bought it.
