Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) restoration

About a year ago i picked up a 1995 12v with 75k on the clock. Truck has some undercarraige rust issues and normal wear and tear. Does anybody know of a rebuilder/restorer who would take the truck and get it as close to orginal as possible? Not looking for power mods, only stop rust and make new as possible so it is reliable and simple.

I'd love to tackle it, but I'm just not setup on that scale presently.

I've got a guy here that does trucks all the time. However, the 8 hr trip out here isn't worth it from NY. There has to be an equivalent shop there somewhere to tackle the job.

I would put a feeler out with some of the local body shops, especially the ones that are into antique/custom cars and custom body work. It may even be a 2 Stage job, one shop that pulls the body and then another shop that sandblasts the frame. As big as NY is there's gotta be several shops in or near the area that can give you what you need.
