Time to Replace My 1997 2500 4WD 5SPD 12V Diesel RAM?

I was wondering for those members who have upgraded their headlights with the Retroshop headlights, where have you attached the ballasts and the Moto Control unit? The ballasts and the control unit are not too big (about 2x3x1 inches) but kind of heavy. They definitely need to be attached to the metal somewhere. There is a ballast for each headlight and one control unit. There is very little room immediately adjacent to the headlight area. I was thinking about temporarily removing the batteries and battery shelves to see if there is room below the batteries to attach the hardware. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

I’ve put these lights on two trucks, the connection that plugs into stock lights is junk, the pins wobble around and both times hi and low beam were backwards. I cut the plugs off both sides and soldered wires. The location of my ballast required me to lengthen all the wires coming out the back of the bulb.

Another question. There are several ground wires for the harness and the ballasts. If I find an existing Dodge ground screw that is close to my ground wire, can I use it for my ground, and, on the side with the ballast and the MotoControl, is it ok to ground the ballast and the controller to the same screw?
Thanks again.

Ya I did haven’t had any issues. Drivers side ran one 14 gauge wire from ground next to wiper fluid reservoir, connected both grounds to that underneath. On the passenger side I used the ground right behind the battery and ran it underneath an connected both to it.
