This is only the second time I've posted a question, so bear with me! I have a 2002 with NV5600 and my reverse lights quit the other night. I noticed them flickering on and off several times over the past few weeks as I backed down the driveway but now they're out completely. Any ideas? The only thing I've checked is the fuse. No modifications have been done to the truck; it's still stock. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem and it turned out to be the transmission switch. The switch is located on the passenger side of the transmission. I got a replacement at NAPA.

Yes, I have had the same problem and replaced the switch twice. Seems that it may be exacerbated by towing and the extra electrical load of a trailer with back up lights.

Do a search. I believe that Gary may have taken one apart and cleaned the contacts and had some sucess with it. He uses his name and ham id for his screen name and I just can't remember it at the moment. No coffee this am, yet.

By the way, how much was the switch at Napa? I know that Dodge is now quintupling their prices on parts since the Messiah gave them the billions.

When I bought my switch from NAPA it was $60. 00 with tax. Have read on here somewhere where you can get them a lot less but do not remember where they were purchased at.
