Competition Rhonda gets beat by truck with stock injectors

Attention: TDR Forum Junkies
To the point: Click this link and check out the Front Page News story(ies) where we are tracking the introduction of the 2025 Ram HD trucks.

Thanks, TDR Staff

Competition 1st time at strip any advise?

Competition Whats the fastest 3rd gen so far?

Okay, that's not fair! My burnout on that street was just as good, but there haven't been any pics posted... Hoss, you didn't pay off the picture takers did you? :p There was a little video clip showing the back end fishtailing, but that was right at the end... :(

At any rate, Scott, I'll never run out of burnouts/ donuts, just tires... Always glad to put on a show! :D

I'll have a chat with Russell (Pacific track manager) about letting us do a burnout competition or some such thing. BTW, on a serious note: at the Northwest National event, we need to behave and not do anything out of line there (such as speeding in the pits, burnouts on the entrance road, etc). The track has treated us very well (when other tracks didn't), and I would like to show them that we're the kind of group they want to invite back...

Rhonda,

I already set it up!!!

There will be a burnoff competition at the Northwest Nationals!!!

It did not get added in time to make the posters but we are doing it.

Did I miss something???? Rhonda's burnout was as good as Hoss's??? I was watching ya Rhonda... . thought maybe you were trying to save your tires or something... . I've never seen a burnout with that little smoke :--)

O Boy I'm getting my flame retardent suit on right now

Okay, so in my defense about the whole video/ burnoff thing, uh... what I meant by better is that, uh, there was more side-to-side movement with mine. Uh, and I was trying to save my tires plus my truck was in valet mode plus it was defueling. Yeah... And as far as the one with Piers at the light, nobody can prove that was me making smoke on the left. HA! Yeah, and if it was me (which I'm not admitting to), I had just turned on my defroster and a dead bug flew into my eye, slowing my alleged reaction time...

Hey Piers, why do you need a "Flaming retard suit"? :-laf

Don't you boys (except David) feel at all bad about picking on a poor defenseless girl? (batting eyelashes) Shame on you... ;)

(Where's my valium... ?)

Ya,ya,ya, we've heard that before, My brakes crept up, A moose ran out of the forest and hit my truck, My truck was stuck in valet mode, My engine fell out. Quit making excuses... ... .....

Batting your eyelashes????? I didn't know you had any  I thought you shaved???

What's retarded flaming suit?????? Are they blue & put out a lot of black smoke & move kinda slow :-laf

What's this about VALIUM... . I thought that's what you give to kids to make them sleep..... not something that much older women use

okay, now I'm heading to the BOMB shelter

Is there anyway to get the burnout contest to not be sitting still?

Something like "Dancing with Dodge" or the like.

Maybe a 100'x100' area to play in? Doing wide donuts, and such. (Wouldn't that be freestyle?)

Empty parking lots work good.

Merrick

EDIT: Great clips. I think we need some more... :D

Now that's the funniest thing I've read all day... LOL!

So, an interesing phenomenon occurred last night at Mission Raceway Park. Much to my dismay, there were no other diesels there! My, my, my...

I do believe that makes me the winner by default.

VICTORY!!
:D

On a side note, the staff and racers at Mission raceway welcomed me back with handshakes and assurances that they really wanted us to run there. They showed a lot of interest in the upcoming Northwest Nationals event, and some staff may actually come down to attend. I was told that a fellow from a racetrack in Oregon (I believe that would be PaulB) had called with concerns about his truck being allowed to race at the upcoming ET Finals. They were amazed how word had gotten around; aaahhh, the power of TDR... :D

As far as burnouts and such, PDR's dyno day is definitely the place! I believe only 3 of us did it last year. Maybe this year it won't run so late so we have more time for the "fun stuff". Oo.
