I just installed a set of Rickson 19. 5 Alloy wheels on my 97. I have to say that other than the unavailability of the model I wanted and took what was in stock, I couldn't wait for the others to be built. The wheels are a quality product and with a set of Goodyear G124 245/70/19. 5 they much improved the handling of the truck. The wheels are rated for 4500 lbs. and have reduced the side to side roll of the truck with a 11'6" 3400 lb. Lance camper. With the taller tire I had to change the speedo gear in the rear end and Rickson sent the correct part with O ring. With the taller tire the cruising speed dropped the RPM.

Good product, good customer service, I'd buy them again.

Pics!? Ricksons are sweet.

Which model did you get? It appears the lightweight aluminum wheel has a greater offset than the other models, making them stick out a few inches farther.

Actually the aluminum wheels from Rickson have LESS offset, but the result is that the tires stick out farther than the stock ones on 2000 and newer trucks. On my 2000, my old-style (less offset) Ricksons caused the tires to stick out about one inch more than the factory Michelins. The effect was not noticeable.

If you get the Ricksons, you will not regret it. They are expensive, but the peace of mind gained by using tires that are WAY underloaded is worth a lot to me. Also, as cksh8me has stated, Rickson's service is top notch.
