For a fifth wheel I would use a dual rear wheels, and have for the last 10 years. For a trailer type RV single rear wheel work fine. Had 2 of those for many years and towed easily with big cars or station wagons.
They take a bit of time and work to install and remove. I don't leave them on when not using the camper and I don't add fenders. They add greatly to stability also.
I would say the Rickson 19. 5" wheels are a better way to go if you're not a 4x4 and don't neet the added floatation for off road travel. The big tires look great and are very stiff. They will carry the load of the duals or more depending on the tires you get.
A 10k trailer isn't much for a 2500 to tow. Maybe you need to look at the type of hitch you have?
