I'm at work, I'll have to watch that when I get home.

My oldest sister retired a couple of years ago from the Air Force as a full Colonel (yes, we're just a little proud of her. ) Shortly before she left active duty, she got a ride in an F-16 over the Colorado Rockies. She called me from her car on her way home, I think she was still up at 15,000 feet!

My brother works with military jets. He opted to NOT do flight training, thus he dont fly in them.

For the life of me I cant figure him out.

That was interesting. If you're in halfway decent physical condition you can keep blood in your brain pretty easily. The flight suit helps you do it.

Here's what I look like at 9G. I'm not a pilot... but I used to be a guinea pig for them. ;) I never blacked out.

I'd give my left you-know-what for a ride with the Blue Angels. It's not like I'm going to use it anyway!:-laf (Happily married for almost 17 years!)

Not Navy but...

Last summer I spent a few weeks working the viper(f-16) flight line at Cannon AFB. We had a two seater that was giving us heck with engine trouble, and we needed to run it up to %60 power to get diagnostics on it. They decided to let me jump in the back seat, fire 'er up, and push the throttle. Oo. Talk about feeling some power! As I pushed the throttle past %30 the nose on the ol girl began to sink towards the tarmac and she started to tremble. Eased it on to %60 and I felt like i was sitting on the back of a 20 ton dragon getting ready to attack. A little more power than our little dodges can come up with!
