Dear Mr. Kingbury:

Sorry to hear that you had any problems with your powder coat. This is the first we have heard regarding this, can't help customers solve problems if we know nothing about it. We have thousands of satisfied customers and want you to be one as well, just give me a call. Just to recap your order: you paid 995 for your bumper plus 130 for powder coat. The NO WINCH CUT OUT OPTION we normally charge for and in your case did not. Yes, your order took longer to get out, so we paid for your $300 shipping, thought it was the least we could do.

Give us a call,

JD

Yes, we have rears for the 3gen. It looks identical to the 2gen you see on our web site. Can't believe what a response we have gotten off the new rear design, has been great!

I might still be able to get in on this if I can meet the dead line for the group deal. When is the dead line?

I have notice different Titan Guards I , different wrap around, comparing Blue Dually to BBD's and 3" Silver Body Lift. I also see a difference in the Titan Guard II, one horizontal bar, Horizontal and two verticals. Are these different options or older versions.

Can we get some weight estimates.

I was planning to do a 3" body lift but I'm not too crazy over that particular bumper. Is there anything else that can be done to the original RA bumper or will I have to forget about the body lift?

I have tried calling to ask the above questions but only get the answering system, you guys must be getting flooded with phone calls. Here would be a great way to answer the question to a bigger audience.

As far as wieght, I pulled this from there web page:

"How much do the bumpers weigh?

It depends on a combination of factors to determine the weight of your bumper. A base bumper weighs 145lbs. If you add a Sport Guard option it will add 65lbs to the total weight. Keep in mind though that if you intend to install a winch in your bumper that you need to add the weight of the winch as well. "

Not sure about the wieght of the rear I am sure James will chime in with that info.

I am going to take a guess here and maybe James will straighten us out on this as well, but I think what I have is the base bumber with sport guard, one horizontal bar would be the Titan 1, two bars Titan 2, does that make sense ? Don't quote me on that your best source for the info is still James or contuine to call.

Pablo, if your going to do the 3" body lift you will need the bumper for the 3" lift I looked at mine yesterday and if I added a 3" body lift you would see the frame and body mounts under the bumper.

Sorry for the confusion, the term Sport Guard is no longer used as this was associated with the other guys. We refer to our truck guards as the Titan Series, Titan I and Titan II or T1 - T2 to make it simple.

The current Titan series for the 2nd and 3rd gen Dodge as well as the Super Duty application can be best seen on the red dually on our site. This has both the Titan I and Titan II option.

The Titan I consists of the main guard that wraps around the quarter panel and up to the hood line where it runs horizontal in the center. The Titan I is closed in by two vertical guards located just inboard of the factory head lamps. The Titan I is constructed from 3" dia x . 120 wall mild steel mandrel bent tube. The Titan I adds 50 lbs to the base Stealth bumper weight of 150 lbs. The Titan II option consists of one horizontal guard connecting between the two main Titan I guard's vertical tube. In addition, the Titan II has two more vertical center guards to close in the entire from of the truck. The Titan II option also comes with three light mounts, one the center and two on either side. The T2 option adds another 26 lbs.

If you live or drive through deer areas you will want to consider the T2 option as this will keep Bambi from becoming one with your cooling systems.

BBD you have the Stealth bumper with T1 option and powder coated in our most popular custom color "Chrome Powder Coat". This is an optional color which requires a base coat of bright silver this is then baked on. The second coat is a heavy dose of clear which is also baked on. This coating is awesome as I am sure BBD will attest to.

The rear Stealth bumper weighs in at 120 lbs. It comes standard with recessed B/U light mounts, corner and center marker light mounts and is compatible with the factory hitch. The unit is compatible with both SRW and dually applications and is available for the Super Duty and 2nd/3rd gen Dodge.

Hope this answers all your current questions.

James

The dead line would be the 27th of Feb 04. Just give us a call before then, cause this smok'n deal won't be offered again soon!

Just so you all know, the pic of the blue 2gen was an early release. The outer panel which houses the recessed lights is solid and laser cut, no bolt on construction. The recessed light mounts accomodate four PIAA 510 4" dia. lights. You can use any brand so long as they are a single stud light mount.

Same is true for the 3gen, the light mounts are both for 4" lights. There are two models available for the 3gen. The model you see here has the molded top plates to match the factory head lamps. This unit is slightly more expensive than the version with the flat top under the head light.

James, are you still making the TG II from the Blue Dually or can you make it and install it on either one of the bumpers, standard or 3" lift version. I really like the way it follows the hood line, higher at the hood and lower over the headlights.

The reason I want a 3" body lift is because I have a 2WD. I do have a 3. 5" suspension lift that made room for my 285/60/18 (31. 5 X 10. 5 X 18) but would like to go with the 325/60 or 65/18 (33 or 35 X 13 X 18). If the 3" lift bumper can get that TG II from the Blue Dually then you have me on the hook.

Please PM if you do not wish to go over details here. The way I look at it, if I'm going to spend that much, might as well get what looks the best for me, before I die when my wife finds out.

I am probably going to get banned for this next photo :D

Remeber guys, james is giving us 35% off all bumpers, so if you have some friends who are unfortunate enough to drive Fords (just kidding) they can take advantage of this group buy and help us out as well.

O. K. I'm in. Put me down for a rear bumper. Up until now I was going to build my own bumper. After searching the available choices out there I wanted something that wraped around the sides and didn't see what I wanted. The road armor is just about what I have been looking for and with the discount I have to go for it. Thanks to BBD for the footwork on the group buy. Now who in the N. Calif. area is going on a road trip to p/u a load?
