It was supposed to be here before TIM and on before the DHRA Calander shoot, but didn't make it in time. Oh well, she is on now been looking forward to getting rid of that cheezy gray plastic piece for years.

Scott,

Your truck is looking great as always :D

Yes, Road Armor's new Stealth Series bumpers are awesome

I have a front and a rear on order :D

My front bumper should be here next week Oo.

My rear bumper, four to six weeks :(

Joe

Tom,

"A base bumper weighs 145lbs. If you add a Sport Guard option it will add 65lbs to the total weight. "

Hey BigDaddy, be sure to post some pics! I want a set of those for my '03 some day. I like the Stealth models on the '02 and older models more than the overdone '03 model shown on their site.

They will make any changes you want so I would make it more like the one above.

The rear seems to offer the most customizing, so I'd be interested in what yours looks like.

Thanks BigDaddy. It must not be very thick then, to only weigh 140 #'s. That's the problem with the steel bumpers, to be thick enough for my tastes, they would have to weigh as much as the Cummins...

Oh well. I'm quite happy with my DOR bumper. These do look very nice though :D

Hey Tom[,

You do not have to be thick to be strong ;) The stealth bumper is 35% stronger and lighter than the original RA bumper, now named the Prowler Series.

Look at the shape of the Stealth bumper. Those bends and angles give more strength to the entire assembly.

I think RA uses 3/16" "grade A36 descaled premium steel".

Now don't get me wrong, Layne makes (what I think) is a great bumper from 6061 aluminum and I talked to Layne at length about his bumper. I have heard a story where a person hit a 100# deer with his bumper traveling 50 MPH and ZERO damage

When I talked to Jim of RA about the strength of the Stealth bumper, he told me that if my bumper were damaged by anything other than an automotive accident, he would repair it or replace it free. You gotta have some serious faith in your product to say that :D

I have always liked the looks of the Road Armors. Congrats on your new bumper BBD. Do you have some additional pictures?

SWEEEEEEETT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A friend of mine put a RA bumber on the front of his 99 about a year and a half ago and just recently traded it for an 03. , man that thing is stout and pricey.

Hey everybody thanks fore the kind words sorry I haven't gotten back here sooner, been moving.

Tom, Sounds like BigDady may have answered all your questions BigDaddy thanks for filling in on the info thing for me I should have thought to add there link when I posted. you will like your bumpers. I have had a lot a people give me comments on it in the past week :D
