just got mine in the mail havent really looked at it but seems alittle more complex than expected. if I was to upgrade my steering shaft would this be a good time to do with doing the column bushing upgrade. any tips or is it that bad. I guess briefly looking at the directions it comes across long.

Isn't this the thing many members complained about jamming and stiffening they're steering depending on weather. . and not always fitting right...

I think is is the other way around me trying to fit upside down doing this during bad weather is going to really be a pain due to my military injuries. should be fun.

First of all, thank you for your service!

I replaced the bushing on my 02 with all the ABS crap in the way with out pulling the column. It has been a few thousand miles and it is still a little tight , but loosening. 1 thing that helped me I found, since trying to swing a hammer was impossible, was I put a large socket on the end of the supplied PVC tubing and the added weight helped slide the bushing in like a slide hammer. Good Luck!
