MNTDR Annual BWW Gathering!

Area Diesel Service Open house, dyno run June 16, DM, IA

Some "non-smokers" (pictures, that is). Duallies sure look funny missing two wheels!

BTW, since I dyno'd at 304 with only two rear wheels, am I running 608 with all four installed? :D

Anybody got the complete list of numbers? I did 304. 1/625. 8. My lift pump is dying - I couldn't get anymore fuel into her. Now, your excuses?

Last of them. I do also have a few videos - anybody want to host them for me?

A lot of good looking trucks guys!

Thanks Kenny / Jeremy for putting this together.

Great pics guys!

I want to thank Kenny again for making his shop and time availble for this event.

I know I had a great time and I sure hope everyone else did also!

Kurt got my old 92 to make 197/628 on the rollers with NO PARTS!

Well, a good time was had by all and I hope we can get together and doit again soon!

Thanks everyone for making the drive and coming out for this event. I was really impressed at the number of trucks and people that we had show up.

See you all next time!

Jeremy

thanks for having us kenny! and also thanks to those of you who got those pictures, good stuff. looking forward to seeing everyone at the next event

Hello boys. Well as you can see Mack and I didn't make it. We both went to NYC last weekend and may have picked up a bug there, we've been bed ridden since Thursday noon. I think it's bronchitis but not sure...

Anyway, sorry we couldn't make it, it sounds like it was fun! We will make it next time for sure!

Nick

Great pics. Yea it was lots O fun. Glad I decided to make the drive down. There were some sweeeeet rides there. good to put faces behind the names.

Had fun, thanks kenny for the great hospitality.

WOW GUYS!

I had a great time myself! I am so glad so many turned out. At one point I was loading a truck and saw how many faces were in the crowd it was almost overwhelming!:)

First of all I want to thank Jeremy for his amazing amount of help and dedication! Without you Jeremy I think they day would have been a bust or I would have pulled the rest of my hair out trying to get things organized!

Thank you Barry G and Doug H for all of your help strapping and setting up! You guys were an INCREDIBLE help and I can not thank you enough.

SNOW PERFORMANCE coming down was absolutely awesome! Thank you Matt Snow for your dedication to the event. Their gift to the top HP winner James was GREATLY APPRECIATED! James put down an official 553. 1 HP and 963. 0 ft/lbs of torque. We did see a higher HP number I thought and if James can get me his 6 digit identifier number from his pulls I can look into the computer database and pull that up.

I am so pleased to have had you guys here and hope that maybe next year we will be a touch smoother in the runs and have an optic sensor that is a little more proven in reliability. I did hear from plenty of folks to not worry about it because that seems to be the normal cause of problems on a dyno day... but I do not accept failure too well. ;)

If anyone has pictures they can send me to post on my webpage or videos that want me to host... just send them to -- email address removed --. Do not worry about the size of the files... my service can handle it.

THANKS SO MUCH GUYS AND I LOOK FORWARD TO ANOTHER RUN NEXT YEAR!!:-laf

Just wanted to say that I had a great time at both IHOP (Thanks again SOOT for the breakfast) and the dyno event. Its cool to meet new people and put faces with screen names. I didn't realize that there are so many of us here locally in the springs and I think it would be great for us to organize a few get togethers locally.

Thanks to everyone that made the dyno event possible and hopefully will have another later this year because I'm planning big things for my 95:-laf :D

Fellas and Fillies -

Not to hijack the thread, but after that dyno event I am very very eager to turn up my little 128 hp 1st gen Oo. . Was very cool to get a bone stock baseline, 'cause next month I'm hosting a 'pump day' out at the shop for anyone that wants to come out. I'm doing several upgrades to my 12v and invite anyone to come out, use (or bring) whatever necessary wrenches you need, and turn up your gear with me.

We'll be burning burgers and dogs, and it's just a good safe place to meet up and do some personal wrenching. It's all in search of laying down bigger numbers on Kenney's dyno, so if you want to come out, please reply to the other post for the VE44 pump day so I can get some numbers, mainly for food.

Thanks again Kenny - great event. I know we'll be back. Also thanks Marshall for breakfast - mighty nice of you dude.

No problem at all Kenny, I had a great time at the day and even working with the setup was fun. My wife said to me at the end of the day, "i didn't know you were going to be there all day" I Just can't stand by and not help when needed. Thanks Doug

I had a great time. Hadnt seen many of the folks for a while. Helping out was no problem at all. Part of the fun. Thanks for hosting Kenny.

Guys not to change the thread but thinking of moving out there and was wandering what they do for inpections out there?

Also i will be having mach 4 and not sure on what turbo, trying to plan a head so seeing what you guys think is working out there at elevation.

What part of Colorado are you headed to? I'm just outside Colorado Springs at 7200ft. The biggest thing to learn here is to ease on the pedal. If you are going to spend most of your time up here at altitude I would get a slightly smaller turbo to make up for the turbo lag.

They are doing away with the emission testing here in El Paso county.
