Just looking at the size of those front hubs, and rear brake drums about gave me a heart attack #ad
Man those things are killer--how in the world would a person ever break something like that?? I know I will have to take out a bank loan to replace rear shoes--but who cares--this thing is built like a TANK! I can't beleive it now when my 3/4 ton buddies tell me there is very little difference between thier 3/4 ton and my 1 ton.

S A,

What is the difference between your front hubs and your rear drums and those on my model year 2000 Ram 2500 CTD 5-speed?

The front discs are the same on the 2000 2500 and 3500. The rear drums are 1" wider-3. 5 (3500) vs 2. 5 (2500).

------------------
1996-3500 4x4 extended cab tst #5 plate, K&N air filter,Primeloc fuel filter kit,4" exhaust,Purodyne bypass oil fiter system, bigger injectors (215),b&m trans pan,Amsoil all around, temp gauges out the wazzo, much transmission work including TST upgrade kit and Bill Kondalays TC, Transfer Flow 98 gal bed tank, double tow 33' 5th wheel and 12' trailer w/motorcycle(Honda Valkyarie Interstate)Also have 1999-250-stock.
Installing governor spring kit(BD)on dualie.

Model year 2000 2500/3500 have 12. 125 X 3. 5 in. rear drums with 1 inch bore cylinders—the ¾ ton and 1 ton trucks have the SAME brakes model year 2000.

Yes indeed our 1ton dually's are truly real trucks, check out the rear drum on the dana 80 it just slides off no more axel removal to do brakes. good luck with your 1 tons guys
