OK; I did a search with no results, so hence the question.

Where is the best place to run wires threw the firewall on a '07 Quad Cab, 5. 9.

Hopefully without having to drill any new holes.

All answers appropriated:)

A gromet with the hood cable (I think thats what it is) allready exists. You can remove it, make the hole bigger, and use that. Or you can remove the plate for the clutch assemby, drill holes add gromets and use that. Your choice.

I used a hole that already had wires through it for a factory harness. This is my 2005. I don't know if the 2007's are different. But there has to be a hole already there somewhere

Well on my 2004. 5 auto there is a non metal plate over the firewall access used for the clutch on manual. It has two bolts to take off. I drilled a hole big enough for all my gauges and other wiring that I need to run into the cab. Probably the same on yours.

This is a picture of the plate:

You might also consider to add a little clear silicon to where the wire go through the firewall to keep water from traveling through the hole... .

This is exactly what I did too!

If you go to the Diesel Manor website, they have good pics and instructions on how to do this. Refer to Pics #8 thru #10: Gauge Installations at DieselManor- 2003-2007 5. 9L Cummins

Thanks for all the reply's:D

Looks like this is the way I will do mine, with some silicon to keep the water & cold air out of the cab.

Thanks again for the help, and sure have enjoyed my truck.

No problems with it at this time, w/ 50,000 on the clock.
