ScanGauge II transmission temp

Just got a ScanGauge II and I'm trying to get it to read my transmission temp. I know that the truck sends info about transmission temp because I borrowed an Edge Insight CTS and that reads it.



I've gone to the SGII website and installed the codes (for newer vehicles) listed but those are not working.



Anyone know how to get the SGII to read my transmission temp??? I have a lock up issue and would like to be able to keep an eye on the temperature.



2001 2500 4x4. Mostly stock.

Try calling them and let them know that the Edge can see it they may give you some data to key into it. What else are you monitoring with it?

You will have to call them, that's how the rail pressure finally got published. . edge had it and I complained.

you need some 3% window tint... works for me :-laf

My scan guageII wont read rail pressure. I assumed it was a issue with it being an 04 versus the code was for 05??

I have yet to see anyone with an 04 that can read rail pressure.

I recently went from the SGII to a Ultra Gauge and really like it, but it wont do trans temp on any rig... but I have a manual.
