Have any of you used Scotchcal Paint Protection Film on your Ram? If so, do you like it and do you think it is worth the money?

Thanks,
Areon

https://www.turbodieselregister.com/ubb/icons/icon4.gif I thought it was over priced. I picked up a simular product from a graphic designer-sign company. It is a 3M product with tractor feed for plotters. 15" wide and comes in various colors. It was easier than tinting windows. The temperature should be above 65 to apply and stretch on to the surface. I used it to protect the paint from the winter bra.

Is it the same stuff as the thick clear tape that you put on to protect the rocker panels?
I've been looking for that stuff for two weeks and keep coming up empty.

I am going to be installing a bunch of this stuff this weekend. I will post on how it goes to this thread. It was about $100 for enough of the material to go 8" wide all the way around the truck. It would cost half that or less if you were just going for the rockers. This outfit http://www.protintinc.com/storefront/scotchcal. asp was BY FAR the cheapest on the stuff - other places wanted as much as triple. Plus free shipping and they gave me the applicator squeegee with it. It looks like it will work pretty well. 3M has some good photos of gravel abrasion tests on their website.
