Unexpained MPG drop

Water in fuel, won't start

Good Morning Members,
Soo, I have a problem. I've installed one of those SDFK(Severe Duty Filtration Kits) on my 2004 Dodge Ram 3500 Cummins. My problem is that I've taken the truck several times to the dealer to activate the second WIF sensor in the computer but each time we have not been able to find the module on the DRB box. Now, the DRB programmer they have looks like it's been to hell & back but we've gotten it to connect each time but haven't found the setting for the B20 thing your supposed to activate to get rid of the WIF light. I've scoured several forums to see what I am missing but haven't had any luck fixing it. I un-installed my Bully Dog G/T Tuner once thinking that may be the culprit but it wasn't. I noticed I had some wires connected improperly and went back after fixing that, after reading that the computer notices when you have everything hooked correctly THEN it gives you the option to activate that setting then. I'm not sure if it's a faulty DRB box at the dealer or something missing in my trucks computer or what. I'm getting to my wits end and thought I might ask here. There are several threads about this subject on several different forums but nothing that relates to the problem I am having. I've included the programming instructions from the kit just in case something is wrong there. Thanks,
Dale

Did you swap out the WIF sensor on the underhood connection? It is possible to enable it with the wrong sensors, which means you end up with a WIF light.

Even if you get it programmed your Bullydog will likey wipe out that programming once you re-install it, at least that's what happened with my Smarty.

I was finally able to get Smarty programming and the 2nd WIF sensor working when I started using UDC Pro.

Thanks for the responses everyone ! Yes, Apparently the Bully Dog programmer is just like the Smarty's in that it deletes that programming option. Due to pure luck, I came back across my original WIF sensor that I mistakenly thought I had thrown away, once I re-installed the original and hooked up the wiring the WIF light went out, which is what I expected. Thanks again Everyone !!!
