TFucili said:Alcohol in two strokes is a no-no. It acts as an oxygenate and effectively leans out the mixture. Also as it absorbs water it will force the oil to separate out of the mix. When I sold equipment and oxygenated gas came around I had to buy an alcohol test kit. If a two stroke seized due to this they would deny warranty.
lethal injection said:Who says Alcohol is a no-no in two strokes? I run straight alcohol with a two cycle premix in my banshee. Yes before I shut down for the day I have to run regular fuel through it so it does not eat up the rubber lines or attrack water.
