Do you mean the brake-transmission safety interlock on an automaitc transmission truck that prevents moving the gear selector from Park without placing presssure on the brake pedal?

If so, check this link: https://www.turbodieselregister.com...on-discussions/217811-park-safety-switch.html

No, I mean the device that acts when you hit the breaks to lock the seat belt so you do not go forward. It is suppose to be under the dash. Just want to know what I am looking for.

that particular part you are referring to is actually in the seat right next to the headrest, pull the seat cover up and off to reveal the plastic housing, you can remove it by taking out the two torx screws and two phillips head screws, then lifting UP on the housing, by the way, there are NO electric connections to this unit.

where are you getting this information? sounds like the jobs I send my grandson to do, "go find me some muffler bearings" what is a seat belt solenoid? sounds like a flux capacitor.

It is a 136. 00 dollar from a dealer. I guess you will find when it goes haywire for you. Thanks foir your help and info.
