A lot more smoke and power

Smoke is about 5 times more it will lay a trail now power is mostly seen by the Boost gauge trippling its speed to pegging when in lock up 3rd gear comp 5x5.

Greg , Sounds Bad ... . Un tap your comp and unplug its under hood connections , see if its OK if not then get codes read and go from there If its better contact EDGE and go get your codes cleared .

After one day of testing ... .

set backs -

It seems when you put it in Drive when the engine is under tempature it really bogs down and almost dies ,,, When the engine is warm its fine .

I thought I had this fixed with the Vulcan Kit it seems with the bigger injectors it has came back .

any idea ??

What is your fuel pressure?

Are the injectors balanced? What are the pop off pressures? This is a problem I can see with changing nozzles. Does not seem all companies test flow and spray pattern.

Did the truck do this stock? Are you using the same injector bodies?

Not cutting corners Just wanting a Daily driver with some umph !

Dont need/want big ol' injectors just a pep me up for play . And they have done that and more .

Just saved about $500 for christmas :> and still got a great BOMB for my truck

Driveabillity is #1 importance when concidering BOMBS I drive my truck 50 miles a day to work . . Ive BOMBED my truck to the point where I hated driving it back and forth from work but really loved driving it on Satuday Nights ... Been There ... . I restored it back to the point of being reasonable for me ... . now starting down the slope again but doing it much wiser and having a GOAL in mind this Time...

Next bombs ATS INTAKE AND EXT MANIFOLDS ,,,,,, drivabillity ... still there ... ... . HP gain not wacky ... ... Looks A1

Bill the 3x3 seems to of helped its not cold out anymore ,,,, LOL Ill have to give it some time to see if it really worked .

Dont need pop off tested ,,,or ballanced they are stock injectors the tips have been tested at the factory all are the same

Yeah the truck has bogged down sence the Suncoast Tripple disk ,,,ive done a few mods along the way and its been fixed a few diffrent times I change things Too much ,,,,, Guess I need to keep bombing and stop when it dont bog down like that anymore . . LOL

man,as a friend,u sound like an Ensure commercial. "Heres to your health mr diesel truck... dont you mean OUR health. :-laf :-laf :-laf

Im going to pull this thread exactly ONE day after you get back from IRP (yes you ARE going,no excusess, we might have to kidnap you and chain you to to bed of a truck and call your work tell them you are dead... but you are going. ) and see if you still feel the same. :D You will start making deals with yourself about how you will make upgrades work for you for a daily driver! It may not be injectors but it will be SOMETHING!

No offense, but areyou kidding? I have never seen a set of factory injectors that were teh same for pop off, let alone for flow.

They are two different animals. The flow and spray pattern is a function of teh injector tip. If they have not been checked, how could you be sure they are the same??
