all I know is I didnt spend any extra money on testing Im just driving it everyday ,,, thats What really matters to me ,,,not test results.

KERMA said they are all fully tested before they leave along with strict manufacturing guide lines AKAMAC didnt run them very long and he sent them to me I put them in and there great ,,,,just what I wanted

I suppose if i bought a set off EBay for $3. 68 I would run them threw the paces but I fealt rather confident that I wasnt being hosed.

DM, The injectors were tested. If I recall they were within 3% of each other. They also were never installed. The bodies have 70 or 80k on them. I hope this helps. Mike

well i installed a new ckp sensor yesterday. omg. what a pain in the rear. it would not come out. took me about 2 or 3 hours. but im glad its done. hows the truck running chad? bet it runs well.

No offense, but areyou kidding? I have never seen a set of factory injectors that were teh same for pop off, let alone for flow.

Obviously you've never tried injectors modified with tips from that particular manufacturer.

Pop-off has as much to do with nozzle-needle play as spring tension. The springs are usually dead even from the factory, because springs are easy to make consistent. The tight tolerances in the nozzle are way tougher to get right, and this affects the pop off too. If there is too much play, there is more fuel returning thru the bore, and pressure takes longer to rise in the tip. Everyone worries about the spray holes, but that in only a small part of what makes a good nozzle.

Kerma, you are correct. I have never tried injectors from that manufacturer. That's why I ask questions.

And what does that have to do with factory pop off pressures? They can and will vary out of the box, let alone after many thousands of miles.

Mark Been running in 3x3 and lovin' it acts like its in 6x6 but smoother :>

My experience as well. The smoothness of the bigger sticks is much nicer than the electronic fueling from a box.

By "factory" I assume you mean "Bosch"

Bosch makes those things by the millions. They sample maybe 1% of them for testing. Acceptable tolerance is something like 6%, IOW "maybe just good enough"

Bosio makes nozzles by the hundreds or thousands (depending on the type of nozzle). EVERY SINGLE ONE is tested and if they vary outside something like 0. 5% they are trashed. It's the only way they can compete with the OEM's like Bosch and Stanadyne for the replacement parts market- by making a better mousetrap. They've been doing it like that since the 1920's.

anyone need a core set of injectors. there is a set on ebay that ends in just over 2 hours. the latest bid is only like 20 bucks.
