2006 Mobile Suites 36TKS too much weight

I have to get some pictures of the rig when it's hooked up. Here's the only hosted pic I have right now of the 5th wheel (and the back half of the truck) in a campsite:

Casey has a Newmar Kountry Aire, hope you don't mind me showing your rig off for you Casey. Well image didnt come out for some reason so here is the link https://www.turbodieselregister.com/user_gallery/displayimage.php?&photoid=7012&width=0

Casey does have a sweet fiver, but it's actually a Mountain Aire. Just 1 step down from the Kountry Aire.

Strange how $8 kept him from joining back. It's only $43 for a Canada subscription. He probably doesn't have time if he travels a lot.

crazyhorse, those are great pictures. I remember so many of the places you show - Cassiar Hwy BEFORE it was. Alcan Hwy while it was dirt! The road to Tok from Anchorage over the frost heaves in the spring. Thanks for the memories.

Here is my 2002 CTD and my new to me 2001 Terry 30' 5th wheel. I spent all weekend waxing the trailer, man what a job. Thank goodness my tractor is big enough, I used it to stand on, lots easier than messing with ladders.

2000 Salem 26FKS. . Its only been towed to the coast once since I got the 04. 5... Now we are selling the truck. Im bummed. The 3500 4x4 towed great and I didnt even know it was behind me!

Pueblo trip

Just got back yesterday from 2 week - 5000 mile trip to New Mexico and Colorado. CTD and new Cedar Creek did fine. I ran the TST on 3/4 and pushed every hill. Total combined fuel usage was 13. 5mpg. Ugly guy is a friend. One thing for sure we did when we got to campground in north Pueblo was to remove the Timbrens. They bounced us to death. They are for sale.

Traded in 3400# Lance slide-in for this. It's our first 5th wheel. With only a 1300# pin weight (tanks empty - basement loaded with tools and grilling stuff) I was able to take off my Timbren overloads and sway bay. Only been on one trip so far, but it tows nice - much nicer than any bumper hitch trailer I've towed.
