5er is 11,200, boat is 5060. It's not really that bad. Only challenges are in rush hour traffic and finding a station off the interstate to fill the truck.

My rig is a little different but Its a Dodge Cummins

Its only 25 foot but I can park anywhere a car can go most of the time. I do toe my car trailer with my Model T inside. The dodge knn't even know its back there. It has all kinds of power when I need it. Its a 1995 12 valve automatic transmission beef up by Dave in Iowa.

Grey Wolf,

Thanks ... ..... Im not sure if ill go with another wildcat. I learned a lot about what i wanted and needed during the last two years of owning ours. I had a few problems with the construction and "cheapness" of some of the components. I guess i never new how many staples and caulking went into these things until use sift through the ruble of one.

New Lance 1181

:) Here is the new 1181, we love the layout but the quality of the outside fit and finish is poor. The caulking must of been by someone first day on the job. The roof bars are covered with rust. Beautiful unit, I will just fix the problems.

Ours is a 18' 1970 Terry that was given to us and it's the reason we have the Dodge. I rebuilt the brakes on it (ever try to find brakes for a 1970 trailer?) and we repainted it. It has given us four years of good service but we are looking into other options including a slide-in camper now that we have a boat.

This was from Memorial Day '06 at a KOA campground near Yellowstone:

I know it's not a RV but since i travel with it and sleep in it, it just may qualify as one. I built custom cabinets for it that easily turn into a king size bed :D
