Borgeson Universal Company Celebrates Its 100th Anniversary

2006 Mobile Suites 36TKS too much weight

At the beginning of August I moved into an "RV" in John Day, OR, aka my temporary home, until I move back to Bozeman in two years... unless I find a job closer to home before then. Since my wife and permanent home are in Bozeman, I figured I'd save the rent money and gas money toward my metal building foundation that I will be putting up as soon as I can pay for the foundation and slab. Then I can move the Travel Trailer to our place in Idaho for a fishing get away. The topper/box on the car hauler is my "storage unit" and temporary shop :)

Here is our little baby, Foxy, at a pull-out on Utah's Hwy 12 - just before, I believe "Hogback", (a short stretch of no shoulder or guardrail and a couple of hundred feet drop-off on either side of the road) where rain, hail and thunder & lightening  caused my navigator/photographer to speak in tongues (at least I could not understand a word she muttered for about five minutes) and where she strategically placed permanent finger impressions on a variety of interior parts of the truck). Gee, everyone else has a mansion on wheels... I feel a locker room episode coming on...... I have an urge to buy a Lamborghini... :D

crazyhorse, those are great pictures. I remember so many of the places you show - Cassiar Hwy BEFORE it was. Alcan Hwy while it was dirt! The road to Tok from Anchorage over the frost heaves in the spring. Thanks for the memories.

Frank, thank you for the nice comments on my photos. I'm sorry I just got to read it today.

And, BigNasty thank you for your pm comments.

The upper picture was taken along the banks of the Swan River in Montana, my wife and I dearly love the NW corner of that state. The lower piture was taken right around Eureka Summit in Alaska. That was our 1st campspot when me, the wife and the fur children were moving to SC. I love the land up there around that Eureka area!!! I put thousands of miles on my 4wheeler in that back country over the years exploring.

Times change and so do we. I have gone from a 5th wheel to this :

This picture was taken at Crimson Lake Provincial Park near Rocky Mountain House AB. With our "new" trailer we are almost 53' OAL. Sure do like having the power of a Cummins to pull it. Love camping in the trees and mountains. Shadrach

WOW! That looks a lot like my Alfa did on the 2002 Dodge 3/4T I had. Sorry I cannot get the picture size reduced.

Sadly the trailer has been sold and the truck replaced with a 2004 Dodge 1T and a truck camper.
