Thanks for correcting me there BEE-OTCH :D

Guess I asked for that one.

Hey Gary if you go let me know, maybe we can hook up and carivan. Not sure at this point if I'm going or not. Sounds like there's going to be a big turn out and I need my Tulare fix.

Last I heard Bpine's not going to attend do to fear of loosing the Show & Shin to Big Bad Dodge. :D So no gas powered Margaritas this time guys. :{. We'll just have to drink all of BBD's PBR's. LOL

Cliff, let Blair know I won't enter the show-shine if he doesn't enter the pulls :D

Gary, bring the new trailer and the wife, you can do some honey do items on the trailer then :D

Come on you guys. You have to swing something Gary. Blair neither. He mentioned at some point he may have a moto race. Hey OO, I was up in Mammoth this weekend but couldn't track you down. I left some event flyers with one of the guys in NAPA and with some others up there. Go grab one from those guys. I already got an e mail from a lady whos truck I left a flyer on in town. Said her and her husband are all charged up to come. Anyway, get on down here you guys from up north, we need to make a heck of an impression this year so they invite us back. This is our chance to push diesel trucks and pulling to the next level down here which will be good for everyone. I think we will all see a lot of new faces from all the brands from all over the place. From what I can tell, things could get big.

Craig

I had to work the weekend. If you had a semi chase you through town it was probably me:D I know Brian at napa he heads the 4 wheel drive club up here. There's a couple people in town interested in heading down for the weekend.

Craig there is a couple of Dyno's in town have you checked into this?Let me know if this might be an option as i know them both.

Mike

No Dyno planned as of right now. I don't think there would be time to have an off site dyno and the pulls all on Sunday. Now, we could put something informal together for Saturday and a group of us could head over there for a few hours if we could arrange something with the shop. PM or e mail me Mike, we will talk about it.

Craig

Craig. . It's looking better right now...

If I come it will be on Sat... early so I can get a head start on the beer drinking. . lol as if I needed that. .

I will need a hook up site as I have no Genset on board my 5er and will need the Air Conditioning as I'm a big pu ss y :D and do not sleep well in 250 degree desert temps LOL

I'll drag along my big ice chest , do I need to bring two big ones ?? I have two of the very large white ones Costco sells.

Now you are talking Gary. For a hookup spot, call Willow Springs @661 256 2471. They will have to arrange those spots. Unfortunately the hookup spots are a few hundred yards away from everything else, but you can unhook and drive your truck over. Its hard to say for sure, but I think there is a chance that there are going to be a LOT of RV'ers. Have to have someone reserve you a spot near their motorhome in the dry camping area for you to park you truck. Worse comes to worse, I may be able to track down a genny for you to borrow so you can dry camp it.

Af for ice chests, that just depends on how much barley pop you need to store. I have one too, those things are pretty big - its up to you big guy. Hope it all works out.

Craig

Alright guys, late development here. Who would be interested in a dyno run on Sat. the 18th the day before the event. We have one line up but I need a head count on who would be interested so we can work out pricing. Again, this would be for Saturday Sept. 18 the day before the actual event. The shop with the dyno is about 15 minutes from Willow Springs so its easy to get to. All I know about the dyno is that it is a superflow and apparently it can take plenty of power. If we can get 10 or more guys, I think the price is $50 for the first hooks and then $10 for each one there after. We will work out pricing for sure after we get a head count. Lets have it guys. Let me know quick.

Craig

I am definately in for a dyno run! But like Cliffman just asked, will it fit a dually? In my case a dually with 37" SSRs??

Joe

He says a dually is no problem and neither are the 37" tires. Although Big tires can be kind of funny on dynos at times. Max width is 89" which should be fine for duallys I think. So give me some confirmed counts guys.

Craig

All I can give is a maybe at this point. Is there any other events happening on Saturday other than a possible dyno? Thinking of driving up on Friday afternoon getting in around 8ish... All depends on work. Probably wont know til Thursday

Mark me down for the dyno run, Craig! What do ya mean big tires can be kinda funny on the chassis dyno? Do they end up giving odd-ball results from vibrations or something?

Also, where exactly is the dyno shop we are all possibly going to meet at? 15 minutes away from the track is not very far and there is a lot of desert for longer than 15 minutes out there.
