Redding Dyno and Drag

Utah State Fair Truck Pulls???

Cliff, Besides the dyno, there will be a lot of BBQing and benchracing all day Saturday I imagine at Willow Springs. If there are a lot of guys that want to dyno, that will take a while.

Joe, As for big tires, I'm told that they sometimes flex a lot when strapped down on the dyno - so I'm told. I will find out where the shop is. Probably just have everyone meet at Willow Springs and then Caravan over to the shop. That way people don't have to figure out where so many places are. I will get details as I get more on the head count.

Craig

The dyno takes into account the tire size and gear and has a correction factor for that. They said their would be no problem doing 20 or so trucks. Unless Craig has heard anything else the price is $50. 00 for the first pull and $10. 00 a pull after that. If we have less than 10 trucks the price goes back to to the standard rate. $70. 00 first and $15. 00 after. He is a pretty good guy to deal with. The place is a high performance parts and repair shop so their will be parts to look over while you wait if you wish. The showroom is pretty large with a good variety of goodies!

Mike

im interested in the dyno pull as well. could craig, joe (jgheen) or scott (BBD) give me their cell's so i can call them when i arrive. that way i could get directions. my wife cell is (623) 826 6499--so if you need to contact me you can.

ok--i got reservations at the holiday inn express in lancaster. probably roll into town between 1200-1400. what time are we meeting for the dyno????????? Oo.

Got more dyno people....

Craig,

I was up in Hanford over the weekend visiting family and working on the truck and my cousin will be coming to the event with his truck and he is also bringing a friend of his with his CTD and they both want to dyno, so there is 2 more trucks to get on the dyno. So, mark me and my group down for 3 trucks to be dynoed. Are we gettin' close to the 10 truck minimum?? Has there been a meeting time for this dyno group run established @ Willow? I'll try and be there around 9:00 am on Saturday.

Joe

Ok. . I'm set up for a hook up spot for Friday thru Sunday for my 5er

for you guys that don't know me . . I drive a ghost flamed silver dually, towing a SnowBird 36' 5er. . I'll have a cooler full of suds so stop down by the hook up spots for a cool one when ya get there. .

Scotty see ya there Bro.

Scotty,Cliff. . I head'in out friday mid-day, want to meet up just on hwy 99 just south of Hwy 152 and 99 at the Pilot Fuel stop on ave 18 1/2 off ramp [might be ave 19 1/2 forgetting in my old age]. . it's on the west side of the freeway, Scotty the one we hooked up before.

Atta boy Gary, glad you worked it all out. As for the dyno, we have plenty of interest, in fact, its probaby going to be hard to get everyone in. There is quite a bit of interest among the Chevy guys too. I will get a time together for those that will be there Early on Sat or before, we can meet at Willow and caravan over to the shop if you guys want. Catoiler knows the guy pretty well so maybe he will be the pointman on this. I will keep everyone posted. I will call you Mike.

Craig

Good deal, Craig, I plan on being out at Willow by at least 9:00am on Saturday. Sounds like the guy is gonna get a lot of business this Saturday.

The shop wants to know if we could bring half in the AM, and the rest in the afternoon

If the turn out if that big. We were wondering if the people that are staying in town wanted to meet at the Holliday Inn and go from there. I would meet you guy there and caravan over there. Craig would caravan with the guys at Willow springs.

So lets get this straight... the actual dyno and sled pull is on sunday. What is going on on saturday and friday?/

erik

No... . Sled pull is on Sunday and dyno is on Saturday. Nothing on Friday, as far as ai know just people arriving and setting up camp for the weekend.

Erik,

The actual event including the Sled Pull is on Sunday Sept. 19th. Saturday is when we will be doing the dyno runs, this is not an official part of the event but a lot of guys are interested in it so we figured we would set it up.

Mike, what times does he want to do them at, might get tricky having to split it up and bring everybody back. Let me know.

Craig

Gary, I am heading out early on Saturday with the wife, kid, and truck in tow, according to Micrsoft streets and trips its a 7 hour trip add an hour for towing its going to be around 8 hours. Look for me around dinner time, if the Dyno place is nearby the Holiday Inn exspress I might show up there.

See ya there Bro

Craig, the reason behind that was parking but there is loads of parking! The owner wanted to keep it to one lot,(he owns most of the block) but I talked to the man that is running the dyno and he said no problem!!If we can get started around 8:00AM that would be great!

"What time is the dyno going to be held at? How much is the cost? diesels only???"

Look on the 6th page for details. You can dyno what ever you want!
