Just installed the smarty JR. What a great ride! I got a new truck for $450. 00

It was the first mod on my 06. Besides the gauges and suspension. Very smooth at all RPMs. Not quite as Jerky as the catcher on my 99. A little smoke here and there, however it clears up quickly as soon as you build some boost.

The candy bar was great!

Installed my SmartyJr yesterday, but only had time for a short test trip. Looking forward to testing it out more today. Only $445 for mine, but wife took the candy bar!

Installed mine yesterday , short ride also. Candy was great for the first upload. I am running mine in the fuel mileage mode. Let's stay posted on our results, I'm sure Bob and Marco will like to hear

Glad to hear all you guys are happy. I ordered mine yesterday and hope to have it early next week. With the 50. 00 off I just had to pull the trigger. What level are you setting at?

My brother is waiting to get a few miles on his 07 before the Smarty Jr. Gauges are already in.
How is it affecting your mid range power. That is where he feels he is lacking?

I know that the Smarty Jr can reset tire size. Will it correct to the same degree that the Smarty CR does? The CR will correct to 1/10 " tire size.

Does the Jr allow changing tire diameter for the stock program?

The HP levels in the flyer are different (Jr=40 HP vs S-06=30 HP) implying a different software. Looking at the mads site there was no Jr download section. Does the Jr use the S-06 software or will it have its own specific software?

Does the Jr have a better fuel economy program?

Just contemplating if I should sell the Smarty and Pick up a Jr instead.

OK all you new Smarty Jr owners. What level are you running at and how is your mileage now? Just got mine in the mail and will be installing it tommorow and wanted to know what level to start at for best performance and MPG. My truck is stock except for intake/airbox mods and MBRP muffler. Anyone do the tire size for 285's yet-how much did you go up on the Smarty. Thanks.

I used the Tow mode for a trip that included 600 miles of towing a 26' travel trailer and 600 miles on non-towing. Power was especially more noticable when towing, not so much when not towing. No more smoke than normal. Fuel mileage was increased by about 3 percent from normal with similar size trailer and conditions. I did push it a little more than normal when towing though! :-laf Happy with results of this trip.

Switched to Economy mode and will try that tomorrow running empty.

I loaded in the 40 hp program in my truck and I must say the engine seems to be more linear and willing to rev. There is not alot of smoke when you get on it. The truck 6spd. pulls very well in this mode unloaded. I updated the speedo for my 295 Toyo MT's and I drove about 190 miles today. The overhead was reading 19. 4 when I got home. I was driving with the cruise @ 72 mph most of the way and it was very windy. I drove the same route going west then east. I'm looking forward to trying the 70 hp mode. Last year I drove to Pa. from OK. and averaged 19. 24 mpg measured on a 20,000 mile engine. I plan to take this trip again over Christmas; I'll report info. Mr. Wagner was very prompt in getting the package out and the candy bar was a nice plus. :)

Thanks for the info all. I loaded the 40 hp program and drove her 40 miles or so. So far I am very happy with this setup. No more smoke then stock, much better throttle response taking off or punching it at 70mph. Plus my egt's lowered about 75 degrees at 70. Very easy to load the program and will leave it at this setting for a tank of fuel to see fuel mileage-hope I can make that long before I try that 100 horse setting. Anyone try that yet?

Does the Smarty Jr. and Smarty stack with any other products like Edje Juice? Tried looking at the FAQ on the webpage but it would not come up.

Thanks
