hello i finally got gauges in my truck and i started to play with pump by turning smoke screw 2 times cw then i more turn with no noticeable change in power or smoke. i just changed fuel filter and i can only get about 14lbs max boost and my egts never come above 100 so i think i have problem with gauge or hookup, its a used autometer phantom series.

for me, the smoke screw only affects the smoke when i bog it. otherwise you probably want fix your guages before tweaking anymore. please fill out your sig with your trucks vitals so we know what you are working with. for the low boost problem, check for boost leaks and correct linkage movement.

The smoke screw has a negligible, if any, effect on overall fuellng. I have noticed a SMALL difference between bottomed out and backed al the way to the top.

You do mean 1000deg on the pyro, rigth? 14psi sounds about right of r a stock 93. Might be toward the lower end of spec, but still in the ball park.
