Imagine 3 polished, ball bearing turbos and 3 intercoolers on a dodge... who can identify all of these? I included some common turbos for reference.

I'll take a guess...

From left to right, HX40 (modified it looks like), polished T66, an HT3B (with some miles on it), and a polished T106?

Well am I close? :D

Evan ... are you saying the one w/o any mfg info on the compressor housing is the HT3B?

By the way, great wallpaper opportunity. Oo.

You get an F for cheating. :D

Those are some nice looking turbos though. Probably a little pricey and I don't think I have enough fuel to even think about spinning them.

Brian

edit: I believe the one furthest to the right in the second picture is a Thumper series, which cost almost as much as a set of twins.

Mark, looks like you must have been taking notes from our last conversation.

Have fun with the -censored-, and NewGen wastgate config!

I was wondering when someone would build it! I just wish I had the money to do it first! :{

Note to self: keep my mouth shut!

oh, how did you trim up the turbines and turbine housings?

(that is one thing I did not tell you) ;)

Pic 1: HX35 (modified)/T66/HT3B

Pic 2: T66/HT3B/T106 (A little big dont you think)

Pic 3: NewGen wastgate, HT3B, T88

DF, I've had the turbos for 2 months. Long before we talked.

I decided to try the nextgens last week. they are really shiny:D that has to be wrth some HP;):)

Good eyes on the turbos:cool:

According to the design folks at turbonetics the THREE in series should make 175psi of boost on the map.

one small problem. . the cylinder walls won't handle it well. hence the nextgen wastegateS.

why would you need that much boost?

Very, very sweet Mark. Now, what about these 3 intercoolers for this setup? Someone pointed out to me yesterday that with twins, and only using a single intercooler, typically between the 2nd turbo and the engine intake, the air coming out of the first turbo and into the second turbo is often way too hot, and so ideally you want an intercooler between each stage of turbos and going into the engine.

Details!!!

2 new spearco radiators. . one for the engine. . one for the turbos.

2 air/water 1000+ hp intercoolers for the 1st 2 stages then a HUGE air to air for the 3rd.

with twins intercooling between the stages is often cost prohibitive. when money isn't the issue.....

2 months??

2 months?

Why have you been sittin on them two months? Get them installed already.

Did you hand polish them yourself?

they sure are pretty but they would look nicer under a hood!

danelle;)
