zstroken said:Depends on if you have a 5 speed. If you have a 5 speed you have to if you go with an FE. I would recommend the flywheel even if you have a 6 speed. It comes with a heavy duty pilot bearing, and is already surfaced. The FE is hard on flywheels, but will hold the HP. You will have $40-50 resurfacing your old flywheel anyway. Then to buy the updated pilot bearing is about $10, plus getting your machine shop to machine the flywheel to put it in.

zstroken said:5 speeds were available on the 03 trucks.
Gary - K7GLD said:YUP - but his profile lists a 6-speed...

zstroken said:You will be pushing the FE. If your not speed shifting it and make sure it is engaged before pouring the power on it would probably hold, but if your gonna drive the snot out of it, you will probably end up trashing it. I think MSRP on the new DD is $1795.
oneshotkyle said:cause this new sprung DD will be the one we all want.
cclark746 said:does that include everything you need to make it work like upgraded hydralics and i assume a flywheel are you have to purchase these seperate
zstroken said:I guess your right you need upgraded hydraulics which puts it right around the $2000 MSRP.
