Anyway, its not a matter of "if", only "when", these lines will rust out with potentially tragic results, and I've only found one company that offers complete, pre-bent SS brake and fuel line kits for our trucks, and they are definitely REAL proud of them. Like $500 worth of pride for both fuel and brake hard lines. Twice what they should be. (So I'll bend my own, thank you).



InLine Tube has always been an excellent source, and much more reasonably priced, for either OEM tinned steel or SS (your choice) brake and fuel lines for the Camaros I restore. They have an exhaustive list of in-stock available vehicle kits, but not these trucks. I have twice emailed them to ask if they could or would make a kit for my truck, but they have been utterly unresponsive despite claiming they can do any vehicle not listed, "just contact us".



Maybe someone here knows of another source?

SSage, With you being aware of your trucks needs you will do fine. I found that the plastic political signs are nearly a perfect fit placed between the condenser and radiator. I cut a 8" diameter round hole so the fans clutch can feel some cold air. I also leave about 2-3" space on the side where the upper hose connects to the radiator. Pull it when temps are over 25F and after you get up to operating temp.
I don't know much about the effects of salt on our trucks, but it reminds me of when we take a boat to the gulf we always stop at lake Eufaula and run the engine in the fresh water to rinse the salt. Just drive it in the rain when you come back home to the "Great State of Alabama". War Eagle.

If you could still find one, I'd use one for the guy who was awarded a $1,000,000 Nobel Prize for inventing Global Warming (or was that the Global Internet? Maybe it was Internet Warming? Carbon Credits? Carbon Taxes? I missed the movie... ). At any rate, surely he can spare a smidge of localized warming for one little ol' pickup truck.

I have made my point very clear and yet you seem to not get a grasp on any of it .

I have made no attacks just stated facts after hours of researching your posts. Many of which again do nothing more than show your distaste for the truck you own and brag about your 35 yr old Chevy's superiority and how Ford has the real Dana's. Your own words,not ones I put in your posts. Am I brand loyal,absolutely,always have and always will be.



I know my truck is not perfect and know parts will fail(oops,the starter failed today after 250k guess that means the Cummins is junk too) and when they do I just make the change to better it and move on. I stand by my statements about your posts,sorry I do not write your words,you do.



I will say it again,If your Dodge causes you this much distress please sell it and move to something that will give you less of a hassle,if you can find that. Maybe then it will lighten you stress load and you can actually enjoy the truck your driving whatever it will be then.

Along time ago when the Wayne County P/S team drivers were ousted from their rides due to issues in the camp Darrell Alderman and the late Scott Geoffrion had shirts made after a bevy of other teams tried to get them to wheel their brand-x rides. Those shirts had a statement on the back which fits here for your other thread very well IMO... ..... "Mopar Or NO Car!"..... Dodge's only for me no matter what the powerplant would be... ... I'm still waiting for you to prove me wrong on my statement about the hard lines (or even the rubber lines) on these trucks being of inferior quality and being responsible for accidents.

You still can't do it so you still continue to rationalize your unwarranted attacks. That shows your true character.

Meanwhile, do you need a hug or what?

You seem to be waiting for me to say "I apologize for letting a new owner know about a well-documented (on these very pages hundreds of times by members other than me), dangerous, and potentially deadly problem with these trucks.

Who made you God of TDR?

Go play with your mopar pom poms and dont EVER presume to tell me what I need to sell or drive or do.
