A question about special tools

I see Snap-on has a 19mm socket that I wonder if it is suitable for injector line fittings on, say, my 2001 24V Cummins. Since an open end wrench is problematic on some of the injectors I think I would like to buy whatever is the best, special tool for that purpose. Thoughts on a recommendation?

Also, the gear puller for replacing the VP44; do you have a favorite kind or source?

Are there any other special tools that are good to have when working on these engines?

Thank you... .

Blue Chip has a pretty good pump gear puller at a decent price. I haven't needed any other special tools. The injector line socket is nice, but not a must have unless you are doing lots of injector swaps. The only other special tools I can think of is a factory service manual and a fuel pressure gauge.

Having the right tools for the job, does make the task go easier. That socket FRXM19 and FRHM19 crowfeet are meant for injector lines. I am biased because I am a Snap-On tools dealer.

Found another source for some Cummins specialty tools. Monaco Tool. All Made in USA. Bought the gear puller since Snap-on didn't have any in stock, and I needed it in a hurry. Prices are good too.
