Split dual alternator for rv charging

The 2014 model has a $395 option for dual 220a alternators. Has anyone split this system have one alternator for the truck battery and one dedicated to the rv battery bank? Seems like the perfect setup but can't find any info on it. There must be a way to fully utilize the extra alternator or just keep my $395.

It will be computer controlled .You wom;t want to modify it.Just run larger cable back to your trailer and you will have plenty of power

What Bob sez... to get the full 200 amps from any generator/alternator to the RV batteries would take 2/0 wire. Pretty hard to run that kind of amperage through the trailer plug/socket anyway.
Not positive about this but I think the trailer wiring is controlled by the computer and it limits what kind of amperage goes to the trailer. Unlike my OLD trailer that I melted the 12 volt feed wiring after a week in the boonies.
