I have a SPS62 from my 04 that the compressor wheel some how came in contact with the housing and screwed things up, so what you see in my signature is what I have on it now... My question is, is anyone running a SPS62 on their 1st gen and how is it? I was thinking of sending it in and having I. I. put a 12mm housing on it instead of the 14 and having them go through it and have it rebuilt... . I am going to be putting some DDP 80 or 90 HP injectors in and just odered my 3200 spring for my pump... . I know my compressor housing is going to have to be different too, what do you ya'll think about this idea?

I think you should swap ME that broken down 3rd gen reject for a nice HX35 that will fit right on your truck. :-laf:-laf

Should work great with a 12 WG housing and a little more fuel on the bottom end. :)

No one else has any input? I'm against the ropes here on what I should do... Get it fixed and sell it and get one fit more for the truck? Get it fixed and use it? Surely someone has tried one. I found some stage 4 DDP injectors I might jump on, so that should help it, huh?

I have the htb2 on mine and love it. The sps has a 71mm ex wheel where as mine has a 65mm wheel. Get the 12cm put on it put in some injectors and you'll love it.

can you run 2nd gen injectors on a 1st gen? I thought the pop pressures were different

I ran an sps62 on my 9812v 5sp. stock injectors, 3K kit, custom fuel plate and AFC mods. got 55psi out of it w/ that combo! :)

the edm's being made for the first gen are the same tip as the 2nd gens and even with the lower pressure give the same bonus features such as cleaner, more power and better milage. But obviously a 5x12 puts out differnt amounts of fuel at 1/3 the pressure.
