Squeaky Front Brakes

I got about 30k on my front brakes, and they have squeaked bad since install. Everytime I take it in for a check, I get told thAt all is fine. A friend that is a car salesman (owns his own used car lot) told me that if they got finger prints on the pads before installing that it would make them squeal forever! Any truth to this, or did I get bad pads. Had new Rotors installed at the same time. TIA, Scott

I have the same issue and I think mine are still stock. A guy told me to take some lite grit sandpaper and take the shine off them. I guess the breaks get glazed over. For the finger prints, I have never herd that,
