squeeking noise in cab

I got a 2011 ram 2500 with the cummins when im driving thers a squeeking noise coming from the glove compartment dash area thats driving me insane any help on this issue would be appreciated.

Wow sorry you are right it is the seat when i was driving today i pushed on the back rest to put pressure on it and the squeek subsided it really sounded like the dash now i gotta narrow down whats wrong with the seat

Same issue, both seats. The drivers will go away if I bump it forwards and back again on the controls. The passenger seat only squeaks with a person in it, haven't found a fix. Drives me nuts.

Have you asked the dealer if that would be a warranty claim, I had an issue with my drivers front seat, although it wasn't a squeak, and the whole seat mechanism was replaced under warranty with my 04. 5 CTD.

well got it fixed it turns out it wasnt seat it was the heater assembly under passenger side dash took a rag stuffed it up under to put pressure on it tell i can get it in to the dealer. these squeaks can be really confusing on pin pointing where they are really coming from.

Please let me know what you find. Mine has been squeeking for a year. It's in the black heater box behind the glove compartments. If my wife puts her foot on the blower motor, it will stop. Of course that doesn't last very long!
