Houston Meeting

SETDR - when/where?

I am going to bring the grill and pork steaks and some other items. I won't start the cooking process until we have most of the people there and then we can decide to stay or leave. By the way, the place where Steve and I talked about holding the meeting does not open until 11:00 am. (the inside place, that is) That should be enough time for anyone who is coming to be able to make it to the park. See all of you tomorrow.
David

By the way, Sam, don't worry about the food. It will be all eaten if we decide to stay at the park, and if we do not stay, I will take them home and freeze them for the next time.

Vote was as tight as a Florida primary! 2 insides, 1 outside and 3 "either ways". I suggest that we meet at the Park as planned, and if it seems cold as a titches wit,we move then. Don't let the cold stop you,c'mon out. See everybody at the park tomorrow! Steve

I'll be there between 8:30 and 9:00am with 2 1/2 gallons of hot Thomas Coffee... . bring your thermal cups and come on out.

I will also have plastic for those without.

It was a little cold, but we solved that pretty well. I had a lot of fun and hope all of you did. I hope the next time it is a little warmer. Anyone that wants to think about the next event, post it in 2-3 weeks and we will come up with something then. Maybe a new place to venture or an old, well used spot. It was nice to see some new faces along with the old attendies. See all of you soon.
David

David,
Thanks for bring the pork steaks and the grill. I didn't get to cold till close to the end. Annette said that her feet started to warm up about 20 minutes after we left. I had a good time and it was great to see you all there. I will post the url for the pictures when I get them up loaded. I hope I got a shot of BIG-DQ when he left. I got a shot of what he left on the road.

Mike, Am I leaving pieces and parts on the road again #ad
My poor old worn out Cummins, just barely made it into the driveway. Lucky for me Shannon followed me all the way home, just in case #ad

As always, good people, good food and good times. I'm just scared of Don's truck. Afraid next time will be cold fusion powered. El-presidente,we salute you. And Mark, wish you'd quit wafflin' on all those subjects. Can't tell where you're coming from(I mean besides Clinton) or what you really mean. Looking forward to the next meeting already. David, thanks much for the good eats. Steve

Good food, good fun, good people!
Was a little windy at times (Steve I mean). LOL. Looking forward to the next time. Don, if them are lockers in the rear, you better check them out because I figure a locker would burn them equally both tires. Mines not even a locker, it is just the cheap limited slip that was offered with the truck and it burns them equally. So I know it works. But not even close to what yours did. See you guys in the Spring (and gals). P. S. Thanks for bringing your wife Michael.

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I wanted to let every body know I had a good time Sat. It was good to see some new faces as well. It paid off following Don home, I think he lost his exhaust housing, any way I stopped and picked it up. I think I will bolt it on and see what happens. Thanks Don. Shannon

Mark,
I think Annette had a good time. She enjoyed talking to Susan. I am with you on the wind. I don't know if Mother nature or Steve was worse. #ad

Shannan,
Didn't your Mother ever tell you not put pick things up off the road, you don't know where or what it came from. #ad

Don,
Annette said that she didn't think you would be like that. I thought you did a good job. I'm glad I can't do that with my truck, I go thru tires fast enough the way it is.

Shannon, I hope you didn't burn your fingers when you picked up that housing! I also hope it does the trick for your OLD Cummins #ad
Let us know what happens. See all of you great people in a few weeks.
