Thinking about having stacks put on the truck, but need some answers first. Do they sound good with the 24 valve engine? Wondering how they sound while cruising down the interstate? Are they loud or can you hear them very much from inside the cab? Also do you need to remove the muffler and resonator and whats the effects with one or the other off or on. thanks!

I just put stacks on my truck a week and a half ago, I have the 24-valve, and was srtaight piped before the stacks. Then I drove 1000 miles to Tulsa, for drag racin' and dyno... ... ..... well,I'm not gonna' lie to ya, it's LOUD! The stacks were unmuffled for 2000 miles, there and back, it's a little much especialy at 72-75 mph there's a pretty good drone. So when I got back, I put the resonator on,now it's perfect. At idle it's throaty but not irritating,cruising it's nice,but when I romp on it, whoa,it still gets peoples attention Hope that helps ya'
