Stanadynes fuel/water separator

I am thinking about putting one of these on my truck. Scheid Diesel in Terre Haute sells these. I just got a postcard from them, I have never heard of this one. I had been looking at the Fass system. Just checking to see, if anyone knows anything about this.

No direct experience, but your post got me curious about it so I went onto their site and found this: http://www.stanadyne.com/new/ppt/showfile.asp?id=2344 Seems like an impressive product line. I would particularly welcome the see-through water bowl (if my filter was mounted where I could see it, that is!). Prices sure ain't cheap, though.

I had a stanadyne fuel manager FM100 model on my TDI. I also have a racor model on my truck for the aux tank. I like the racor much better. The stanadyne filter isn't as easy for filter changing and I had some air leak issues with it.

I use a RACOR 690 and really like it. Change the 10 micron filter every 25k miles (about 1 per year $25)
