2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission stanky air

01' Vents blow stanky air when AC is on. :{ What can I do to stop the nasty-ness? Any ideas of what might be causing it? I heard it could be bacteria on the condensor????

couple of things you can try . start engine turn on ac blower on high. spray lysol in right side of grill just forward of windshield. open windows. let in run for a while, ac off heat full on . there is also available at auto stores a product for this purpose. hope this helps. worked for me.

Drew,, if you can hold out till the meet Ill bring some stuff made by BG products that works pretty well,,,, smells like crap for a little bit after using it but clears right up.

hate to say it drew, but the evap might be leaking. sucks. hopefully it is not the case. a/c oil has an odd smell.

Try cleaning the blower case - it may have built up dirt and leaves. Also make sure that your drain tube is not plugged which would be holding water in the evaporator case - building mold.
