steering linkage hitting front diff cover

I have a spot where the front steering linkage has started hitting the front diff cover. any idea what would cause this or how to fix it?

oh, it only does it when i'm turning.

I noticed you had the steering upgrade, was that resent? Is yours the stock cover or aftermarket? Mine rubbed after the upgrade. I ground down the steering stabilizer bracket and used a dremal to cut down the fines on the M-H cover.

Linkage upgrade was about a year ago. Just recently started rubbing tho. Stock ride hight, stock diff cover.

I just did the upgrade on my 03, the stock linkage rubbed a bare spot on my cover. The upgrade has a lot more space on mine. I have attached pictures of the 08 upgrade, top is turned to the right, the second pic is centered and of course the bottom is turned to the left.

Did the dampener bracket slide on the control arm? Check the two u-bolts for tightness.

Just to clarify, it is the tie rod that is hitting the diff? It did not contact the diff post 08 upgrade until just now?
