I just switched out my stocker turbo for a buddies Aurora 2000 and also put a 3 peice HTT manifold in. What a P. I. T. A... . had to mod the shock tower to clear the wastegate. Installed new 4" downpipe also. I'm still frigg'in hot, even runnin Comp on 2x1 or 1x1 if I stay in it, not towing. I switched because of pulling my 33' Prowler (10K lb) last weekend and hit 1250-1300 easy, never saw below 1000 entire trip. I thought the new charger would help, much bigger inlet and exhaust dumping staight into a 4" D. P. I'm making good power just can't use it! I'm beginning to think something is wrong else where, any suggestions on where or what to look at? I see others posting with same items not getting as hot? Also the turbo had a regulator in line to the wastegate, boost control? (Looks like a small air reg. ) How does this work? Sorry for all the questions, any help would be great! #@$%!
